COUNTY COMM: TSAR Tritum Dive watch by Marathon and Zulu watch bands.

Details
Category: Electronics
Created: Sunday, 13 May 2007 02:57

I need to take more pictures of this sweet watch, but thought I would get something up for now. This watch is known as a NASA diver's watch, but many other servicemen enjoy the watch for its stylish looks and bombproof like construction. Features are straight forward including hour, minute, second, day , and a bezel for elapsed time. One of the features that sets this watch apart from others in its class is the TSAR uses tritium vials rather than tritium paint.

These are used on the hour markers and also on the hour and minute hands. Although mostly green, the 12 o'clock mark is orange. MaraGlo is used on the second hand in red and the 0-arrow of the bezel in light blue which reacts to light charging. A black natural rubber strap comes standard with the watch and feels much nicer than your typical cheapo syntetic watch band. If you want to class it up a notch, a stainless steel band is available. Also shown here are the Zulu bands which are great for the TSAR or many other watches. Bands are available in 20mm, 22mm, and 24mm widths in two buckle or four buckle configurations. Furthermore a vast mil color selection is available including hi-viz orange. The webbing used for the main part of the strap is a great compromise of comfort and durability. With laser burned holes this band is built to last putting most synthetic bands to shame. The buckles are made from brushed high grade 316L Stainless Steel that will not cause any negative magnetic effects to any of your gear.
