I've been holding out with my old MICH helmet setup for quite some time and finally decided to splurge to see what all this high cut business is about. The latest Ops-Core Fast SF helmet with their AMP headset package really shows off how the tech can shine when designed from the start to work together.
P1G-TAC is an Ukraine based company and it is always great to see how other tactical communities do things. This particular Grab Bag has some interesting features not usually seen on this bag type, however the specifics may divide many on if they love it or could do without.
I was pretty excited when I got these pair of pants, as I really liked the Raven leggings. (Although they are a bitch to peel off.) Unlike Monkey I’m not really a tactical girl, but he wanted me to try some functional pants to see how they would work for me.
Fanny Packs seem to be making a come back despite getting a bad rep from the 90s and nice to see some CCW variants these days. Although easy to get arrogant on thinking the US is always making the best nylon kit, I find it good to keep an eye out for other countries making modern tactical gear.
I've always liked the idea of zipper tac-boots, but haven't had perfect luck with them in the past. Thus my excitement factor was a bit low to give another a try, however the First Tactical Men's 8inch Waterproof Side Zip Duty Boot has really grown on me finally meeting all my hopes in a side zip boot.
With First Tactical already offering several bag and pack options it is natural they also have some nice pouches to go with them and great to see they put as much thought into them as their other products. Since doing an article on each pouch perhaps would be overkill I thought best to give a good group presentation on ones I've been able to get my hands on so far.
